A Little Bit About My Candles
I won't bore you with that same old story everyone tells about how they got started making candles, my story is a little different. Actually my husband and I thought we might want to open a candle shop when we retired so we made it a must to visit candle shops where ever we vacationed. We've seen many wonderful shops all over the US. Then in 2002 when my husband found he was suddenly unemployed after 18 years at the same job, and in need of something to do he decided it would be fun to start making candles. He made them at our home for several months and we sold mostly to friends and family. We eventually decided to open a combination sign and candle shop in our home town. We are enjoying the business and have many good and loyal customers. The rest is history! When I'm not making signs I'm making candles, and that keeps us busy.
Facts about my candles.
All of my candles are triple scented. I use top of the line oils and wax to make a strong scented candle. The soft, smooth textured wax I used holds the scent longer, while allowing the candle to burn slowly. Customers never have to worry about lead wicks, I use zinc wicks in all my candles. With close to 100 different fragrances there is sure to be one of your favorite scents there too. I like them all!
